Our services

The Romance Society plans and styles romantic setups, celebrations, proposals, date experiences and couples’ travel. Every experience is quoted to your vision, date and location.
Package inclusions and starting prices are shown on our website. Your written quote is the final description of what is included.
A travel and supply fee may apply to locations outside the Twin Cities metro.

A deposit is required to reserve your date. Your date is not held until the deposit is paid.
Deposits are non-refundable.
You may move your booking to a new date once, with at least 7 days’ notice before the original date, subject to availability.
Any remaining balance is due as stated in your quote, using the secure payment link we send you.
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

For hotel setups, the reservation must be in your name and you must check in and give us access at the agreed time.
You are responsible for venue, landlord or park permissions where they are required.
Adult beverages are optional and provided by you. Guests must be 21 or older to drink, and you are responsible for responsible consumption.
Please tell us about allergies, pets or anything else that could affect the setup.

Rental décor (such as easels, marquee letters, stands and props) remains our property unless your quote says otherwise. Missing or damaged rental items may be charged at replacement cost.
We use flameless candles wherever practical. Please never leave a lit candle unattended.
Cleanup is included only where your package or quote says so.

Membership is an annual, per-couple plan. One payment covers 12 months and does not renew automatically; we email you before it ends.
The $50 celebration credit can be used once per membership year on a package of $300 or more, and cannot be combined with the 10% member discount on the same booking.
Discounts exclude hotels, flights, restaurant bills, performers, delivery or travel charges, taxes and other outside-vendor costs.
Benefits and credits expire at the end of the membership year. For membership refund questions, please contact us.
Shared Love Calendar access for a partner is part of the membership and pauses if the membership ends.

Outdoor experiences include an indoor or covered alternative agreed with you in advance.
If we must cancel because of an emergency on our side, we will offer a new date or refund the amounts you paid us.
Third-party services we book for you (hotels, restaurants, spas, performers, carriage rides) are subject to those providers’ own terms.

We may photograph our setups. We only share photos that show you or your partner with your permission.
Reviews you submit may be displayed on our website after approval.
